Enchanted – Security

Raja Sahib was racing in the hall. He wanted to bring Geetnajali here in Mansion but that action will definitely be a show of panic.

“Viccky, did you get her address” “Yes Bahi, just got her address. One of her security personal will be with you shortly and give rest information to you.”

“You be with her and don’t tell her anything to make her panic.”

“Sure Bhai”

“All security is in place?” Raja Sahib was in real panic

“Bhai, it’s my security arrangement. It’s at level of yours”

“Ok. Be with her” he disconnected.

The security personal reached Mansion. Maan seated him and asked for report on her whereabouts. Though they were designed to be professional but the officer knew the truth and very well knew it is going to trigger personal front of Raja Sahib.

“Yes Tell me”

“Raja Sahib” he hesitated.

“So low of confidence? Did I give my wife’s security in incapable hands”?

“No Raja Sahib, here’s the detail” he handed the details.

Raja Sahib kept looking into the details, analyzing each part of it intently to not miss anything. Ok so Geetanjali was in same college as of Geet. she is popularly known in college as Geet. Raja Saheb’s eyes popped out. He checked her pics from college – “Gee-eet”. He could not believe it.

Further reports made it clear she was working in Khurana Enterprise, under him. Not able to believe the facts, he checked each facts in detail and shock just covered him.

“Geet is Geetanjali, his wife” his brain as if stopped working

He somehow composed himself for a while and asked security personal to leave. After he left. Raja Sahib sat down on the couch.

He just kept sitting in there and kept looking into the file. It was whole an hour process of absorbing the fact. And then change in reaction, first there was confusion, then anger and then determination.

There is one thing that he cannot take and his wife has been doing- Cheating with partner.

This is one thing that has destructed their family. After effect of which still stuck in their throat like thorn. He went to the bar and poured himself some drink.

He would have thrown her out of his life at this very moment for this trait but he knew he could not.

One, it was Royal’s image in Kalsia. He along with Dadima have worked hard to keep it up. Throwing her out will ruin it all.

Second – if Dadima knows about this, she will be guilty of her selection for her grandson. He can never let her head down, due to his wife who gave no importance to the relation.  She has agreed to this marriage; he did not force her into it. Now she has to accept it.

He is not as easy a person as she has been thinking. He has been running this empire all on his shoulder, fighting with rivals at personal and business front, keeping his business on top. He can be as bad when needed. Now she likes it or not, she has to come to this marriage. There is no escape. But then he cannot have any emotion for a Cheater.

But remembering her as Geet, he didn’t know what to even expect from her. Revenge can also be taken from someone equal. Will the child in her even understand anything? But still he was upset and she has to face the consequences.

“Welcome to life with Dusta Danav Geetanjali…. FOREVER!!” he concluded his thought on her there.

Geet was dropped at her Villa gate by the company vehicle. She rushed home. The new feeling has overtaken her and she knew she was in love with her husband. He was handsome she knew by now, but that somehow was not mattering to her now. The zeal to feel she was married, married to one of the most wonderful person, who cared so much about her, overtook her. She felt enchanted by his whole persona, she did not need to see him for that now. She realized, the relation was anything beyond looks and those small things that she gave importance.

Geet got freshened up, changed to night suit, took something light from fridge and then headed to her bedroom. She sat in front of dressing table, from the very inside drawer took out a small box. She opened the box and looked at them; her vermillion and Mangalsutra and other small marriage symbols. These incidents from few days have went inside her and triggered the feel of being married. She wanted to enjoy the feel of being married to Raja Sahib. If it was a cumulative effect of all incidents or just something has triggered, she could not understand, nor wanted to understand, but she has fallen for her husband badly. She wanted to talk to him badly, wanted to start a new life, a married life with him. Know him more than anyone else. That part pained her, she knew nothing about her own husband. Want him to know her. She looks at mirror and hold her Mangalsutra in front of her neck, she sees a different woman. Ohh this is so beautiful, feel of a woman who belongs to someone and not just her individual self.

Geet was about to place her thread on her neck when the bell rings. No-one rings her bell, that too at night. She knows the security is setup that no intruder can come till bell without passing them. All thanks to her husband, she is completely safe in this huge villa, staying all by herself. She bit her lips at the thought of his care and concern.

She goes to balcony and checks – Viccky is at the Villa gate. Security sees her and she signals them to open the door. Security would not stop Viccky but even he can come if she gives the final nod. But why was Viccky here at this hour. Why is she encountering Viccky so much today, first in office and now he is at her gate?

He comes up and she opens the door to main house

“Hi.. you here? how come?”

“Bhabhi, can I come in or you won’t let me in without interrogation” Geet laughed and let him in. Someone from her in laws visited her, it felt so good. She belonged to them, she confirms to herself.

She brought water for him “Tea or Coffee?”

“Coffee will be fine. Thanks”

Geet went to kitchen to prepare coffee and pull out some snacks, feeling of family ran though her.

“Why did Raja Sahib not come himself” she thought and closed her eyes feeling shy. First time openly accepting to herself, she would have wanted to see him.

While placing everything on table and making herself sit “anything not serious, right?”

“Bhabhi it was necessary and only then I had to find out your whereabouts. It’s with Bhai’s order”

She nodded. Viccky was shocked, seeing her so much in agreement and not complaining in Bhai’s mention. But he let go. He was not in power to judge his Bhabhi. She may be lesser in age than him but in position, next to Bhai.

“Raja Sahib did not come?” she said in low voice. First time asking about her husband it felt different.

“He has other priorities to check” Geet felt sad, was she not his priority above other thing. But it is she, who has made this distance, she thought.

“I am happy though, you have now some concern of him.”

Geet hesitated a bit while asking “Well viccky, woooo, I don’t know him. Can you tell me something about him”?

Viccky had smile on his face. He must be lesser in relation than her, called her Bhabhi but he could she the child in her. The way she was crushing her hands with each other while asking

“I am sorry Bhabhi, but I can’t much. You have to know your husband with your own effort. It is always advisable to keep your hands off Hubby- wife’s matter” he gave small laugh

 “Ok, something generic”

“Hmmm.. I see some change in somebody” he teased, she simply blushed.

“Generic… hmmm. Ok I can tell you one very generic thing about Bhai. Just one OK” Geet nodded

“One thing that we as family knows about him is he hates one thing in life”

“Hate?”

“Yeah, he hates cheating in life. Especially with family or say specifically with partner. We as family have paid heavily due to this or say still paying”

Geet felt a sudden setback “What happened Bhabhi. Sorry for saying the negative side”

“No No. So, like having fun in office is also cheating for your Bhai.” Her mind immediately went on her own adventurous acts.

“No Bhabhi… you calm down. We know you are fun loving. Bhai simply can’t stop falling in love with you. In Fact, we are waiting for you two to fall for each other.” He paused

“Aa-aand I feel the time is coming” Geet smiled and blushed. Lot of fear and guilt surrounding her along with it.

“So he never had any affair?”

“No Bhabhi. If he had any, he would have told you that as first thing. He doesn’t have time for himself. Thus Dadima at last took his marriage in her hand. And now he is married to you. Just after marriage you became family and now his priority above him. That’s how he is.”

Geet was shocked. What all she has thought about him in order to get out of her own guilt. Why she felt, she did not have position to even stand in front of him. Not because of Royal and commoner but because of the human quality of theirs. But not anymore, she will fix herself to be able to match his personality, No-no, match his characteristic. She will give full and all of herself for this marriage.

It was then Vicky got call from Maan “Excuse me Bhabhi, Bhai’s call” he said in low voice, Geet nodded. But her heart ached, her husband was on other side of line but she could not talk. She stayed seated as Vicky left for balcony
