Indebted – Part 58 -Serious Business

Next day again Geet and Maan were seating between the family when Maan got Adi’s call”

“Maan, we hired your PS. She is very able. You will have easy life in office”

“She???” Maan looked at Geet

“Yes, Sameera singhania. We will start her training soon”

“Smaeera Singhania” Maan muttered. 

“I hope she is an elderly lady or else I don’t know about my office life but my marriage .. I don’t know” he thought looking at Geet who was busy chatting with her brother.

Maan was packing his bag for travel

“Jaan will you stop stomping your leg on the bed continuously? I can’t pack with that rhythm”

“Nice then don’t pack. I don’t want you too” Maan knew this was his old ziddi Geet who reappears whenever he is separating from her.

“You are my wife, do you remember? Better come and help me pack. Do some wifey duty”

Geet got up from bed and walked towards him. She had his shirt hanging on her, reaching her mid thigh. Maan turned to look at her face, which was not happy at all. Her expression not at all matching her sexy look.

She circled her hands around his nape and hung herself on him

“Why are you doing this to me? You know how hard it is for me to stay away from you. aap reh loge mere bina, mujhse dur?” she said with a pout.

Maan knew, in their case, he had to be the strong one.  

“Jaan, don’t make it hard for me. You very well know how hard it is going to be in bed without you by my side, not in my arms” he slid one arm around her slender waist and other down her bottom and pulled her to him. Geet rolled her tongue around his lips 

“Love me like crazy tonight”. Maan did not leave his chance and grabbed her skull in his hand, pulling her closer to him and taking in her lips within his, nibbling it like crazy, pouring out his emotions, letting her know what he is going through as well.

He lifted her up in the air and next she was in bed under him. His lips still entangled with hers, his hands slid inside her shirt to find her blossom, squeezed them hard, mercilessly 

“Maa-aa–n” his tongue rolling madly inside hers, did not let her even scream loudly. Geet’s trigger was needed to bring the fire out of the already restless Maan. Soon buttons of her shirt opened, front panels of the shirt lay flat on her sides as she lay bare in front of him. Maan madly sucked every inch of her soft delicate body, leaving deep red marks everywhere, her hands held tights above her head, she wiggled like a fish but Maan was unstoppable. He then  pushed himself inside her, pinning her hands on her sides, mercilessly moving his hard erect deep inside her, unstoppably in rhythm. 

“Aaa… Maa-aan” Geet kept moaning and he let her be. After he was done pouring himself, he thumped himself beside her, pulled her in his tight embrace

“I love you” he said, lastly placing soft kiss on her forehead

“I hate you” she said hitting his shoulder crest from her fist 

He laughed, pulled her closer with his one hand around her waist and from other pulling the duvet to cover their nak*d body “I know that. Have been facing it since childhood” he teased her. She pouted and snuggled into the crook of his neck

Maan had left and Geet decided to get started with the work she had been assigned with. Maan, as her boss and as her husband, has trusted her ability. She has to make him proud and not only him but her parents. She being the darling spoilt child of the family has only troubled them. She will work hard with Brij and Richa to bring the company in a respectable position.

So Geet got started actively on the work front. 

“Veerji – I have been looking into the Jaipur construction file. I think we should discuss it. Can we do it today”

“This professional ??? ” he teased

“Veerji-ii !!!” 

“Okay okay..”he laughed off “I will ask Sanjay to set up call between three of us this afternoon”

“At least 2 hours Veerji. I will have the whole pointers ready to make it quick”

“Okay” And she left, seriously diving deep into her work. Geet has targeted a few projects which have potential to get Handa Group completely on its foot and take lead from its competitor.

On the other side, the huge Mansion gate opened as Maan’s two seater Rolls-Royce, covered by commando vehicles, two in front and two trailing behind him, approached the Mansion. 

He stopped at the grand patio, got down, threw the key to the attendant and turned to see Dadima standing there.

“Dadima…” he spread his arms and they hugged. He bent and touched her feet

“Where’s Annie?” 

“You know how deeply she has invested herself in Annie’s creation.”

“I always knew that would catch her interest. That’ the reason I handed her Annie’s creation”

“Maan, the way you analyze people and their interests and put them in the right place is remarkable. I am so proud of you my dear”

“You can count that as one of my major strengths and one reason why Khurana Enterprise is excelling. People, money, location, resource and time has to be well coordinated”

“You are making it sound simple but I know it’s so complicated. Our names had been dusted. Its your had work and Khurana name is shining everywhere”

“Dadima, bas. Yeh sab chodiye. Tell me about you and your gardening project” 

“Okay go freshen up. I will get the food ready for you. We will talk then”

“Aaj bas aapki hathon ka khana hai”

“I know and I have cooked everything myself. You go, get freshened up, I will get the table ready”

Maan freshened up and waited for Annie to be back. 

“Bhaiiiii…” Annie came running and they hugged tight. Maan traced his hand over her head

“How are you?”

“Damn busy but I am enjoying it. Howz Geet”

“You very well know and I very well know you both spend hours on phone cursing me” he laughed

“Bhai, we can never ever curse you, not even in dreams. Haan, just tiny miny complaints”

“Hmmm tiny miny complaints… I know you both evil girls very well”

They then had family time dinner. Meeting after a month, they all loosened up and teased each other

“Maan, missing Geet here. Why did you plan this way? It is not fair on her, not fair on us and not fair on you”

“Yes Bhai, why are you always so hard on yourself”

“It was the need of time. You are just looking at her as my wife. Consider it as her professional assignment. She is still employee of Khurana Enterprise”

“Maan, stop calling her an employee of the company, her husband owns.” and that very moment he got a call from Geet. 

He showed them her number

“Okay, now leave it. I am in no mood for serious talks today.” and left for his room to get busy with his Jaana.

Maan closed the door, placed the phone on stand and supported his back on the headboard of the bed

“So, how was your first day?” “Hmm..” she spread her pressed lips horizontally , giving an expression

“How was your flight? rested enough?”

“Hmm… now resting” he smiled “Did you get the idea of the work?” he added

“The work is huge. So much to achieve in a year, how will I do it Maan?”

“You will do it, I am confident. I have a record of placing people in the exact place where they should be. And additionally, you have no choice Jaan. You have to make your parents proud and bring your husband out of debt.”

“Maan, I will do it but you have no debt. You are eldest son for Mom and Dad, you know that”

“Oyee, I don’t need you to be their advocate for me. They are more mine. But I left and everything ruined. I owe it. You know everything, right” She smiled and nodded. Their eyes locked for a few moments. Maan lastly broke from it. He has to be strong.

“Now listen carefully – You have an impossible task to achieve, so you are going to be hell busy and more than hundred percent focused and I have big projects pending to be started and I have to be on the front foot before things slip. You know how I am when the work gets over my head, right?”

“What-what are you hinting at”

“We will be super busy and I would not be available for call on frequent basis and I would not like you to get your focus anywhere other than work”

“Maan, you know I don’t like this hard taskmaster side of you.”

“And you also know this side of me does not care about your melodrama. This is serious Geet. I always had this plan but marriage happened in between. There are so many things I need to focus on and so many things you need to focus on. Let’s give us and family a year and then I will never let you away from me. That’s my promise. But give me and yourself, this one year”

“So, how often am I allowed to call you, yeh bhi bata do” As his words sinked and knowing Maan, Geet feel hard times are ahead of us. 

“I will call you. You stay focus on your mission”

“Wow.. love birds they call us” by now she had tears welled up in her eyes

“What a romantic conversation, right?” she added to her sarcasm

“Jaan, we are love birds because of our deep love. It does not need to always be topped up with sugary romance. I love you, do I need to even tell you this?”

“Good night” she said whipping her tears

“Umm hnnn, say it first”

She averted her gaze “I love you. Good night!!” “I love you, good night!!” He kissed her on screen, and she can not help but smile.

As Maan stepped into the towering head office building, a smile naturally curved his lips. His love for his work was undeniable, and the success he had achieved over the years reflected that passion. It was 7 a.m., well before regular office hours, and the building carried a quiet stillness, with only a handful of employees already at their desks.

Maan cherished these early hours of focus time. The calm allowed him to focus deeply, completing half of his strategic planning for the day before the usual hustle and bustle began. 

He straight away went to his cabin, settled and then called Adi.

They began by analyzing the stock market, deliberating on the buying and selling of major company shares to strategically influence market trends. After this, they turned their attention to their own company’s shares, evaluating performance and potential moves. The discussion then shifted to the financial aspects of their ongoing projects, the company’s profit growth, and identifying areas where policy adjustments were necessary to drive further improvements.

“Thanks for all the reports, Adi. You are the best. “ 

“Well before leaving, I wanted to give you a heads up that your new secretary has joined. It has been a week and she is working hard to get to know the work.”

And that very time there was a knock on the door. Maan knotted his brows, not liking getting disturbed during the meeting

“Come in”

Door opened and entered a beautiful female, sharp feature, short hair reaching her shoulders, she had a silken top, a blazer and A-line skirt reaching between her mid thigh and knee – not too short, not too long. Overall giving an impressive professional look.

“Good Morning Mr. Khurana. I am Sameera Ahuja, your personal secretary”

Maan gave her a smile “Welcome to Khurana Enterprise. Do you have anything important?”

“Just came to say hello. ”

“I am booked with important meetings back to back. Will connect with you once I am free” he gave her a tight smile

“Sure” she gave a calm smile and turned. But then turned to him again

“Coffee??” she asked. Maan smiled and raised his cup of coffee, indicating he is already having it

Sameera left. 

“Maan she just came to say hello”

“So I did respond. But you very well know Adi, I do not like people coming in between my meeting unless it’s not that urgent”

“You are first day in office after her joining, she must have been excited to see her boss”

“Excited to see the boss? Anyways, are you confident she is right choice for the position”

“Trust me Maan, she is very good. Hard working and knows her work well”

“Okay, hope you are right. But as you know, I do not trust people easily and I am not an easy boss”

“I know and she is well prepared. She will be your favorite employee in just a few days.” Claimed Adi confidently, very proud of his selection.

‘Okay, I will leave now”

Maan nodded and checked his watch. He has 10 minutes before his next meeting, that was with Shasha and Tasha, would start. He got out for a personal break. This way his days were fully packed and Sameera did not get a chance to interact with her boss for the whole first week. 

On the other side – After talks with Maan, Geet madly immersed herself in work. That night, after her talk with Maan, she went to talk to her Dad. She was shocked to see he was going through the files of his office. 

“Dad” he looked up at her and smiled . The sadness and disappointment on his face hit her hard. He was not capable of actively working and his children have not done anything yet to improve the condition of the firm any better. Whatever upliftment has come up was all due to Maan’s idea.

“Dad – I promise. The Handa Group will rise soon”

“No-no dear. Everything has its time. You should focus on your life”

“Dad, am I not your life?”

“What are you talking about dear? You all are my life”

“Then how do you think you and this whole family thing is not my life. I will fix it Dad, I promise”

And that day she realized what Maan meant and that solidified her resolve to work day and night
