Enchanted- Starting Into the relation

“Will you marry me.. Phirse?” he looked at her in shock “What?”

As she was sitting on her knees, he kept looking at her, first in surprise with her unique idea and then in his thought

“My knees are hurting, but if you want to punish me this way it’s fine” Maan bent down and picked her up by her shoulder. Geet got up but was sad, her proposal was rejected by her husband. But then he lifted her chin and their eyes locked

“What do you think marriage is a game?” he asked. It was very sacred relation for him and she has made joke of it and now suddenly want to do it again.

“Not anymore. I know it’s most beautiful relation. But it’s fine if you think it’s not needed. I wanted….”

“Geet, we can’t do same mistake again and again. First you were not fully ready for this relation and we got married. You see the result. As of now, I do not have much trust in this relation and you want us to do it again when one of us is not ready for it” he asked with sincerity and requested her to sit on the bench. Geet gave faint smile, how she has broken him and ruined her beautiful married life with wonderful person.

“But if you are really sincere about this relation, we can do it but..” Geet’s eye brightened, we can do it all she wanted to register

“But?”

“Not now? First I need time to gain confidence in this relation. I will try, I can’t promise. Second, there have to be an occasion when we do it. If we randomly do it out of blue, our reputation will be at stake. Questions will be raised on Kalsia Royal relations. I can’t risk it.”

“So?”

“So, it’s four months left to our first anniversary. If you make me trust into this relation completely by then, we can have this as part of our first anniversary celebration”

Geet stood up with big smile on her face “Thank you.” She was all the while on way back home lost in thinking, how come he got such brilliant idea. He looks so serious types but he has ideas of doing things way around.

For Maan, he had fight between his broken heart and his getting drawn towards her or say a hidden need to get life of normal man, where he can shed his responsibilities. But now that he has decided to give this relation a chance he have to take positive steps towards it.

The drive was quiet. Geet was lost in handling her own jumping heart and Maan somewhere felt lighter at heart. He still didn’t know how he will go forward in relation but strangely he felt light with the decision taken.

Later both took a little break from each other as Raja Sahib had to take look into other stuff and Geet went to the room.

She freshened up, changed to her regular baby blue, polka dot night suit and went in bed. Neend kahan aani thi? She just kept laying there thinking, how will the journey be. Geet kept laying down for long, waiting for her Raja Sahib.

Maan came late in the room and laid on other side of bed and placed the quilt over him. He kept staring at the high ceiling for long

After long came from him “Are you asleep?”

Ohh Geet’s heart jumped “Ji, Ji nahi toh. Not able too.” In the dark of night, they lay on each side of bed. Geet knew he has so many questions, but she now wanted to answer them by acts not words. After a while, she slowly moved towards him, he just kept laying in his place with his eye wide opened. Soon Maan felt her palm on his and she locked it. Her hands were super cold, clearly saying how nervous she was. Maan closed his eyes and locked his hands with hers. His heart not in its place as well. Someone is here for him, to think about his needs. He rubbed his fingers on back of her palm. Slowly her hand was warm and she moved closer and placed her head on his strong arm and closed her eyes. He closed his eyes as well and both drifted to sleep.

Without realization, Maan had much peaceful and longer sleep than he had in his whole lifetime. When he opened his yes, his eye went on the huge round wall clock ‘7 O’Clock’. For man who rises at 4:30 am, 7 am as half day gone. He turned to get up quickly when he felt weight on his arm, he turned to see angelic face of Geet on his arm and she was holding it tight with both her hands. She looked so much of child. He kept looking at her face, which was so close to him. He softly removed the hair flocks from her face. How innocent she looked how can he remember he was hurt from her at that moment. His finger slowly started moving down from her cheeks to near her lips. He stopped his finger there for a while and then moved further down. Geet’s started feeling the sensation, her heart started beating knowing her husband was studying her. She kept her eyes closed, feeling his touch on her but as he kept going down her heartbeat speeded and her breath started becoming heavy. He then removed his hand, got up, sat down and turned other side – What was he doing. Yeh kaisa ehsaas hai, dharkanee itnee tej kyun hai. Does it suit to him, a person loaded with such huge responsibilities?

“Good Morning” she said in low voice from behind

“Hmmm Good morning. I am already late. Need to rush”

Later, after breakfast “Can I drive to college on my own” he thought for a moment and then did a text

“Hmm” she smiled and left to get her stuff. She knew he was man of few words, very few words.

“I will drop you…. Yeh bol dete toh…. But no, he texted his commandos to surround my car. Geet, aise to hua romance” irritated she picked her stuff

“If it goes on like this, whole 4 months he will be doing hmmm hmmm and you will keep giving smile. Nothing more is happening if you leave it on him. Geet get on your own original form, unpe chorda toh ho gaya… Hmmm bas”

Geet went to college in the elegant car her husband gifted her today morning itself.  First he had showed her Ferrari 812, her head went spinning. “Yeh??” she feared she is going to harm the car. Least did she value her random self in front of this exclusive vehicle. Then he got Porsche Macan. She hesitantly sat there, knowing next that will come will be something similar.

 Driving this Royal car was a different feel altogether. He had lacked trust in her still when he presented her anything, he made sure he is presenting it to his wife and it has to be of equal stature to him. Can be higher but not lower. That is the place he had in his mind for his wife. She really has made joke of all his understanding.

Geet was in canteen with her friends “Geet what a car yaar!!”

“Yeah, it’s so exclusive. It’s exported right?”

Geet did not know what to say. Her husband has everything so exclusive and now anything he gives her will be exclusive, that was his inbuilt royal style.

“Yeah it looks so Royal. Geet speak up naa”

Geet took deep breath, she knew he has already introduced her as Rani Shiba in elegant party. That video can anytime be telecasted anywhere. And it’s better her friends know from her or they will be another to be felt cheated by her

“It’s gifted to me” “Gifted this car?”

She smiled and blush already formed her face as his thought surrounded her

“Ohhh Gosh!!! Blush.” Shouted one friend

“Boyfriend?” asked other

“My Husband” she spoke and closed her eyes

“HUSBAND????” they spoke in unison, Geet closed her ears and eyes.

“So you were in vacation to get married? You did not invite you friends”

“Listen” she shouted

“No Geet, we are not. You ignored us in your marriage, never told us you are getting engaged or married. And now you have husband who presented you Porsche Macan”

“I could not call you guys as back then we did not know each other. I got married a month before joining to college”

“wow… all the while you were married? We thought you are such a transparent personality”

“Okay if you all listen I can explain”

“Off course, Porshe Macan wala husband hai, sunna to padega”

“Okay, in that case it was Ferrari 812 GTS first” she smiled

“hainnn tu phek rahi hai”

“Okay leave everything. Who is your husband?”

Geet knew it is going to be another bomb blast on her friends “Raja Sahib of Kaslia Estate”

“WHAATT?” “Geet do you even know who he is? He is nations prominent and one of most influential personality”

“He is my husband. That’s it for me. Aur aajkal naraz chal rahen hai” Geet made her face

“Raja Sahib is your husband. Yeah I remember he got married few months back. Bride and Grooms pics were not released”

“Really Geet??Raja Sahib is your husband.” They were in shock would be less. Super-duper shocked they were

“And he was presenting Ferrari in upset state. Khush honge toh? Pinky was lost

“Tohhh” Geet blushed “one kiss on my cheeks” and closed her eyes

“Yaar Narazgi is better” all girls and boys laughed

“wait wait wait..” came from one of friend “You work in KE under Maan Singh Khurana. He is Raja Sahib’s employee, right? You said you don’t know Maan Khurana”

Now Geet was in fix. She did not know if she could reveal Maan Khurana was Raja Sahib. It was security codes and she could not risk her husband security.

“Okay… this is not my life story session. Let’s go to class”

In the evening, Maan was looking at his watch every now and then. No he was not waiting for his employee Geet but his wife.  Why is he feeling so restless for her, this is not him? And she still has to answer her act, but irrespective of all this his heart was waiting for her today.

“Main badal raha hoon. Yeh Geet mujhe badal rahee hai”

This whole new feeling was so alien to him. This restlessly waiting for his wife, getting lost in her in morning, wanting to feel her. What was this? Does he even have bandwidth for such feelings that was seeping inside. What if she breaks him again? How deep was her love that she has realized for him now? But against all this his heart was getting pulled to his wife, who came up with stupid idea of proposing him with wild flower, who was sleeping like a child on his arms, who was trying to tie sari to impress him. Smile formed at corner of his lips. Ohhh he was getting drawn towards her like moth to fire, it was beyond his control.

Geet was in office exactly on time. She was so eager to report to her boss directly after so many days. She knocked his door “May I come in”

“Come in” and his restless heart came to peace

He asked her to take the seat “I have something important to talk to you”

“Yes Sir”

“Geet, now that we both know our relation, you should know that you are equal partner in this company with me. One percent up.”

“Noo” Geet did not like this. All she wanted to focus now was wining him.

“So as per that, you should not work here as intern. You are now part Board of members of KE”

“No, I do not want all those things. I am happy working under you this way. Now your intern and later your report”

He kept looking at her. Okay he did not have habit of explaining his words. People have to get what he said. Geet shied knowing now his decision was taken. He for sure have vast vision of things than her but she thought of her small-small happiness. Her eyes filled with tears and it pained him. He just can’t get up and wipe it off but it made him restless

“Wipe your tears we can talk. I can compensate this change. What do you want?”

“I anyways don’t get your time. You are so busy. This was one way I could reach to you.” There was long silence and then after long thought came from him

“I will try to give time to our relation.” “hmmm when you get busy, you forget everything. I am going to be the first one” what could he say in that, she has been capturing his mind these days

“I keep my words.”
