Enchanted – One Chance

Geet attended her college and then diligently worked in her office in her evening shift. Maan could not be in office as he had more important meeting to handle. Late evening when he reached home he directly went to his Gym. He had been thinking all while about his wife aka Geet. He knew he has no escape; he could not deny the relation they had. What should he do, he did not know. Forgive her and move ahead. Earlier he was determined to punish her. But what will it yield ultimately. Give her pain and his revenge will be taken. She was after all his wife his family; does he really want to revenge someone who is his family. She was his wife, one relation that was his. But then why had she cheated on him as a wife, it pained him. But then the tears in her eyes also pained him. Why did her tears pained him when she had hurt him so badly?

Deep within he wanted to convince himself to go forward with her, but her deeds have hurt him badly. He was in dire need of partner, living all life loaded with responsibility. On top of it, her being around, all ready to start life with him, all ready to surrender, her beautiful eyes, her cute antics they were taking his heart away. Should he hold on to his anger but his heart wanted to give her one benefit of doubt. It was his own selfish need.

“was it all her childish act? Am I being too hard?” he was confused with one side his melting heart and one side his pained heart.

He needed to give time to himself. Assigned her workload and got busy with important stuff. He did not have luxury to think too much about himself.  He needed to sort out his feeling and his pain.

Geet’s exam has approached and her workload was heavy as well. She wanted to focus on both, do good and be sincere. That is at least something that he will appreciate. She was going directionless. How to bridge the gap if he was not even giving her anytime?

Geet had worked great, he along with being busy did not miss chance to check her work. Why he did, he had no answer. For Geet, his emails for work assignment was becoming her solace. She would read each email so many times and then diligently worked on it.  He had left for work next day itself.

Maan was returning from work break after a month. Geet learnt that.  He was not going to Kalsia but coming here. Her happiness has no bound. It was unexpected. She could not miss this chance. She will go any length but get her chance this time from him.

Maan reached Mansion, offloaded and directly went to Gym. He took shower in gym itself and went to his room, he had to. But as he entered, his eye stuck on figure behind the sear. After so many days!!

He could see her shadowy figure, more enhanced by the evening orange light, making it all so magical and she was struggling to get her saari perfect. She didn’t even know to wear sari, why was she even trying and at this hour.

“For you” his heart said. He closed his eyes, “No” he needed to be in control. But effect of his losing heart, his steps automatically moved and he removed the sear to intrude her privacy.

Geet was struggling with her pleats when she felt his hand on the pleats near her abdomen. His finger making contact with her belly button, killing her. Ohhh.. he was hear, so near.

“Fix it now” came his heavy yet low sound. She looked at him and their eyes met and passion just flowed. She kept looking at him, he kept looking at her. She was lost in her husband and her breath were heavy with his closeness. He didn’t realize when his hand left her pleats to fall them down and go on her waist. Geet closed her eyes to feel the heavenly touch of his magical fingers on her. He kept looking at her change in expressions as his fingers kept moving on her bare waist. His hand slowly moved up from her waist to her shoulder, giving ten thousand jitter to her and leaving her in half worn half fallen sari. None cared.h

She felt his fist tight on her shoulder, she did not disturb “Kyun… Kyun Kiya aisa tumne” he asked helpless. He was not being able to move forward till he get clarity. He placed his forehead on hers. Geet took her hand on his cheeks, only this much of his closeness and she was burning. He was breathing heavy

“Sirf or sirf aapse hee pyar kiya hai” his hand loosened from her shoulder and went to her bare waist and pulled her to him

“Kiss-se, Your Maan Sir not your husband right?” he was breathing heavy and his breath were fanning on her face. She wanted to drink it all

“My Husband Raja Sahib”

“Don’t lie, Jhooth se nafrat hai mujhe” Geet could hold no more and moved forward to hug him, tight. This broke his trance. He moved away

“I’ll send someone to help you” “Ji” barely came from her lips…. she was all red. He left out of room.

He was roaming in elegant garden of his Mansion. He had lead a life of saint till now. She has entered his life with all her faults and antics and shook the desire deep within him. It rose like phoenix with her presence. Why with her when she has hurt him.

“And now she claims she has fallen in love with her husband. Jhoot. She is in love with her husband because I happen to be her Maan Sir.”

“Or is it as she claims. But how? She clearly told me she was so fed up of her Dusta Danav.”

He later came to dinner table. Geet had decorated the dinner table with rose flowers, candles and other decorations. The foods were laid. He looked at her “These won’t change the facts” she did not say anything. She just wanted to be in the feel of his touch today. Talking would lessen the effect. On the top, all his complains were valid and she accepted them by heart.

After dinner Geet was walking side by side. What he observed, she was rubbing her hands together. At last he turned to her

“Now what?” he asked at last, she nodded for No

“No then fine.” And he started to move forward

“Nahi woo” He closed his eyes. This girl, who happens to be his wife is one confused soul and turning him into one

He turned to her again, she looked down seeing his angry look.

“I was thinking if we can have a long drive”

“Really?” he narrowed his eyebrows “No. its fine.” He kept looking at her and she was talking to herself

“Pucha he kyun phir?” but he heard “No need to curse me. Give me half an hour. Will meet you here”

And he went up the stairs. Geet’s happiness knew no bound and she started her small happy dance. Maan sensing something looked behind and their eyes met as she was dancing. He smiled to himself but shook his head to her. Shy Geet slowly straightened herself. He turned back and she hit her head.

“Bas ker Jhalli. What will he think.” She was red with shy as she waited for him.

Maan went to his study. What is he doing? he was thinking. She was sad and he came here and now he could not deny her request.

“Whatever” he jerked his thought and freshened bit and went downstairs. Geet looked at him and blushed. Her these surrender and blush were melting him within along with stirring his heart.

As they settled “Thank you” she said in low voice

“Hmm” is all he could utter. He kept driving quietly and all Geet could do was steal glances at her hubby. Her thoughts started getting bit naughty with him being around. Shapes of his lips, how perfectly M shaped they were. What will it feel when he will place them on hers. She shuddered with the thought

“What happened” he was so alert all the time

“Ji Nahi kuch nahi” Then after a long silence she gathered all courage. She had to

“can you not give our relation a chance?” she asked. She knew she was sounding desperate, but he was her husband, right?

“And what is this coming on drive with you?” She did not say anything, just smiled and looked down. Her heart was jumping in joy. She could not believe; he was giving their relation a chance. But that doesn’t mean she will not work on wining his trust.

“Kaddos.. will never answer straight” she thought and then scolded herself

“Stop over expecting” after some 45 minutes of peaceful drive he stopped the car in empty land.

Okay drive was peaceful from outside, within both their hearts had storms of things going on.

The bright moonlight was making the whole feel more sensitive. He started to move in the empty land, she simply followed. It was dream for her. They reached the bench in the mid of the land. He settled there. After a while he turned to her

“What do you want from this relation” he asked. Her heart was not in its place, he was actually talking about their relation

She looked into his deep eyes “In this relation, my journey and Goal is same. It goes thru you to you. Bas”

He looked down and smiled to himself, if she really understands what she is saying.

“Fine.”

“For you?” she asked. He smiled to himself, for long kept looking at the empty land. What he was going to answer was something he has never done. Never done anything for himself. But now he was going to do. He was hurt and he cannot proceed in giving from his side until his heart was fixed. First time in life he was going to say something to her that he had never ever said to anyone. But he could not lie to be shown good to her.

He got up and she along with him

“At present I am only moving forward in this relation for myself. I want to give myself a married life. Later things can change but for now, I am moving in this relation for me. I am not in state to” she placed her hand on his lips, shivering him with her soft touch.

“Bas. You are giving chance to this relation is enough for me to make it dreamy for both of us. Thank-You” and she moved forward and hugged him. He could not hug her back but did deny either.

After a while, she looked at him “Shuru se shuru karen” he narrowed his eyes.

She left him and ran in the empty land “Crazy” he shook his head and then after ten minutes she came with a wild plant having some wild flower on it. She sat on her knees and forwarded him the wild flower

“Will you marry me.. Phirse?” he looked at her in shock “What?”
