Enchanted – Missing Chances

Next day after Aarti at breakfast, Geet looked at Maan and he showed her the watch, indicating her the time. Kadhus – she thought in mind.

“Geetanjali- Today come with me, I want to show you things, Rani Sahiba should know.”

Geet hesitated and looked at her husband, who had smile on his face – let her handle. He wanted to see if she takes truth or lie as her ladder. Geet cribbed in mind but calmly looked at dadima

“Dadima, I got email from my boss yesterday. My leave expiring and I need to join today”

“Who is your boss. You are Rani Sahiba of Kalsia, you should work for your own company not for anyone else” Dadima did not approve it now as now she was declared to world, as Rani Sahiba of Kalsia. Also now she has accepted the relation so no need to work for other.

Geet looked at her husband but he indicated her to not speak. His eyes were stern on that.

“Dadima, we will talk on that” said Raja Sahib and his slight hand signal showed Dadima why he did not want to discuss now. The step family lot were keenly listening.

Maan entered the room and Geet behind him “When I was trying to tell the truth, why did you stop me?”

“There is difference in blurting everything anywhere and telling truth.”

“But I was talking to Dadima” she said in childish complain. Geet was back to her own self. She wanted to win her husband being her own self. Not by putting the baggage of Rani Sahiba, at least not in front of him.

Maan turned to her “And you were sure, your voice will skip all other ears on dining table and only reach Dadima”

“Ooo Okkk” she opened her mouth thinking his point

“But why” she tried to ask further but he shook his head and moved to office

“Chale Gaye” she kept standing there and then “What, he went. I had to talk to him. I have half an hour to join office, I could have talked to him.” She chided herself for missing her chance.

Geet settled herself in other office in Palace as bedroom office was taken by Raja Sahib aka Maan Sir for now.

Geet prepared herself to face his weird questions, which she can foresee are coming

“Good Morning Sir”

“Good Morning. So how was your vacation Geet. All geared up to work hard”

“Yes Sir” “Great to hear. I am sending you few files with details…” and he explained her long list of work to be reviewed each day

Geet made face which he elegantly ignored and then

“So, now as your vacation is done, you can join office physically from tomorrow. Intern are not allowed to work remotely”

“What?” He looked keenly demanding the reason of her What

“Ok Sir” she showed him pleading eyes but he behaved as if he did not understand .

“And your college, you will be attending it physically now, right? Hope your family issues are over” He asked as if ignorant.

“Issue sorted? Mega issue is still unresolved and that’s you” she thought in brain. Then something strikes Geet. Okay why is she forgetting, she can still flirt with Maan Sir as that is his whole point of anger. Jealous of his own self.

“Ma-an Siiirrr” she said seductively “Sir, you won’t be coming to office physically. I will miss you in office sir” Maan was shocked, what she has guts to still flirt with him. Okay now he can’t blame her morally as he is her husband.

“Geet behave yourself. And we are done with the call. You may get back to work” and he disconnected.

Geet checked her college email and she was directed to join immediately.

She was cribbing while packing “He wants to keep so far away from you Geet. Theek hee toh hai Geet, this is what you wanted, go far from your husband. Now he is sending you far from him, you should be happy na.”

She was then collecting her files and other stuff “Geet now stop it. You know all your faults. And counting flaws won’t help. Act positive. YES” she took deep breath.

After she was ready, she went to study where her husband was busy working.

“He doesn’t even care if I am leaving.” She thought. However strong she wanted to be, she could not. Fallen badly in love with him, going far away from him was getting hard. She had wanted to please him in always and he was not even giving her chance.

“Wooo when do I have to leave” she said with heavy voice. He looked up at her, her eyes were filled. He got up

“What happened? You don’t want to continue study” her voice was chocked, she gulped her saliva ad nodded for yes “I do”

“You don’t want to continue your internship?” she again nodded for yes. Geet kept quiet for a while and then

“I know I did wrong. But is there nothing in me for you to miss me?”

“Adat dalwa jo dee hai tumne. First I thought, you need some time but then…” he left words hanging in air as turned other side

Geet could not hold, she ran and hugged him from back “I am sorry” Maan closed his eyes. She was trying to break him, but he was badly hurt by her acts. Why after her such act, his heart wanted to forgive her. Her tears pained him.

“Don’t forgive me for what I did. Don’t ever give me any wifely rights. Just let me be your wife. Let me do wifely duties”

“Geet the vehicle is ready. Come I will take your stuff” and she slowly dragged her hands out of his waist.

Dadima, Annie hugged Geet. While seating in car, Geet looked at Maan. She clearly did not want to leave. Maan sighed, looked at Vicky

“Vicky will you be able to handle my meetings here. I have important meeting upcoming with London client and Home Minister in Delhi. Will have to soon leave Kalsia”

Geet as if got a relief, she smiled to herself and settled in the car.

Geet’s ride was now easy and filled with excitement. First time she will be going to Khurana Mansion in Delhi.

In Kalsia, after some talk with Family, checking on Annie, he left for his room. His attention was needed in various stuff but he could not focus on single.

“First she don’t want to see me and now she is making fuss when I am sending her for college and office.”

He was so hurt with her, yet seeing tears in her eyes did made him feel bad. Why he was shaken when she had hugged him, crying.

On other side of palace, Dadima, Annie and Vicky were gossiping among themselves

“Dadima I am so happy. Looks like Bhai is changing with Bhabhi in his life” talked Annie

“Yes. I was waiting for the day he will change his professional decision for his personal need. But Geetanjali ne ker diya”

“But Bhai looks little upset with Bhabhi” Vicky said concerned

“Bete… this is what a normal husband wife are. Geetanjali will teach him to live his life. Vicky in near future you do not need to go to Delhi for any work.”

“Ji Dadima” smiled Vicky

Geet entered Khurana Mansion. She was surprised to see the huge Mansion in Delhi. Being in the posh location of Delhi, it was so beautifully covered with trees. The whole feel was so soothing. Plantation and flowers so well done giving complete feel of living within the nature. There were classic statues with beautiful fountain, and surrounded with small flower plants. It was all so mesmerizing. Geet approached the Mansion, and the gateway was again huge and soothing with plants designed. Little far away was small pond. Everything just took her breath away.

She smiled to herself – “Perfect place to start life with my mesmerizing husband.”

Geet entered the Mansion and it was enchanting in its own way. Everything related to her husband was simply magical. With such an elegant taste and passion for each thing, she could feel how passionate and stylish person he was.

She chuckled to herself “How will his idea of romance be?”. If everything related him was so enchanting, she wanted to feel his romance, he is bound to take her in different magical world, she could feel. How badly she wanted to know him that way.

“Uss din gusse me pass aye the toh, meri toh jaan he nikal aayee thee” she blushed. Her heart was beating fast with anticipation of him coming close to her

All while Geet was settling, there was only one thing revolving in her mind – her husband.

Their bedroom here was completely different than Palace. It was bit mix of classic and modernity.

She then once sat down to realize, what all she has missed. How beautiful it would be to enjoy the marriage with her husband. He coming and looking at her mehndi, her pulling him for dance and he showing his big stern eyes to her, she ignoring his anger and pulling him and all those small things she has missed to enjoy. If she is so angry with her acts how can she expect him to not be?

Next day Geet went to college, met all her friends “Geet where were you yaar? For so many days?”

“You didn’t miss us?” “we missed you yaar” “and you missed classes? It’s just fifteen days to exam, you need to do power catch up”

They bombarded her with questions and suggestions

“Guys Guys bas. I missed classed but not you guys” Geet laughed

“Really bad Geet.” said one friend but Geet blushed “Oye hoye… someone special? Boyfriend?”

But Geet did not tell them and they kept asking.

In the evening, Geet was back to her routine and went to office. she was focusing on the assigned task but badly missing her boss cum husband. She was hoping he will soon be here.

At night Geet slept late, she could not help but be lost in thought but had no idea what time he will be here.

Morning – Geet came out of bathroom, wrapped in towel all lost in her thought of her Raja Saheb when she saw a figure behind the thin sear and she could only see the back. Geet got all scared closed her eyes and

“Aaaa-aaaaaaaa” she shouted shaking the whole mansion. Next she felt, she was held by strong hand on her waist and her mouth shut with the palm

“Chup, Bilkul Chup” She heard strong voice and slowly opened her eyes, shaking her face, in return making the water droplet from her hair strands waving through his face. He turned his face closing his eyes and the whole thing just moving the strings of his heart in music.

He calmed down and turned to see the state in which she was standing, wet and wrapped in towel and looking at him with her big hazel blinking eyes. He immediately turned and moved far. Closed his eyes and fists tight as her beauty continuously flashing in front of his closed eyes.

Geet was in complete shocked cum surprised state. She was all lost into him and he was there right in front of her eyes. He turned back thinking she must have gone but then found her standing there in same state like statue

“you keep standing like statue, I better leave” and he left making Geet come out to real world. She looked here and there and found he actually have gone.

“Chale Gaye? Was he actually here? Yes, off course he was Geet.” then she again realized

“Idiot Geet, he was here, he held you in his arms and you took so long to realize he was there in real.”

She got her clothes all irritated on herself “What happens to you when he right there, either your voice go off air or your brain. Itna accha mauka tha per nahi…you could do nothing other than becoming a statue.”
