Enchanted – Indignation

The party was over and Raja Sahib has elegantly moved himself out after seeing off the guests. It was pretty late but still Dadima wanted everyone to gather in big hall of palace. Dadima made Geetanjali and Raja Sahib seated in the elegant seat, as Vicky and Annie stood by.

“It’s first time you both have come in front of each other. It’s new start of life for both of you. I want both of you to happily enjoy this new journey”

Raja Sahib and Geet both gave smile to Dadima. Geet was still not settled mentally, as she already faced a level of his anger, but knowing very well lot of redeeming need to be done from her side but, how she did not know. How to face him alone, she did not know. But this also did not reduce the excitement of the feel to be seated next to her husband, Raja Sahib. Her heart was pounding heavily by both the mix feelings.

Dadima did aarti of both of them, placed tika on their forehead. Both bent down and touched her feet for blessings and she blessed them with wonderful blessings of life as husband and wife. Then Annie brought beautiful decorated plate of sweets

“Now both of you feed sweets to each other and start new life with sweetness” Without argument Raja Sahib fed her and smiled at Dadima. That was him, he kept his problem to himself, no one in family would know he even had any problem. He was the problem solver of everyone, not to involve others in his problem.

Geet was shocked as how he was doing all with so much calm when she knew his anger on her was immense. As he fed, Geet’s lips touched his finger, something ran within both of them. Unknown sensation.

Geet looked at Dadima, Annie and Vicky, smiled and with shaky hand took the sweet from the plate and fed him. But as his lips touched her fingers, Geet turned all red with unknown shyness.

“Ohh Bhabhi is full red with shyness.” Annie teased and Vicky gave small laugh. They were so happy. Geet realized, she has not only taken her happiness with her condition, she took whole family’s happiness.

“Raja Sahib, bete, now you should shift to room with Geetanjali as you both need to spend time together to know each other. All your stuff will be shifted to room tomorrow” Raja Sahib smiled. He never did childish argument with Dadima.

Geet has changed to her white and baby blue polka dots night suit. It was bit Capri style with small frilly end in bottom and in her short sleeves. She has washed her face and made small bun at back. With just night cream on, and her raw beauty, she was impatiently roaming in the room.

“he will be coming to this room. I will be sharing room with Maan Sir, shit Geet, chup. He is Raja sahib, your husband.”

She looked up and prayed “Babaji, please make it easy.”

Raja sahib somehow gather himself, changed in his room. He had no option but to go there. He cannot let anyone know the issue he has with her. Her being Geet and flirting with her Maan Sir, knowing he was anyone but not her husband. That feel was burning him. He gave her all freedom and this is how she paid him. But he has to go. He will deal with her but in private.

But as he opened the door slowly, he saw her looking up and talking to the ceiling, ohh how can he forget, she is Geet, unique piece designed for him to handle.

His footstep, brought Geet back, she stood straight and then looked down. Her heart pounding heavily with anticipation.

As his eye went on her, he stood frozen at his place for a while. Knowing she is his wife, it was getting impossible for him to ignore her enchanting beauty. In her polka dots, cutest night dress ever, with her natural beauty, she looked like a live doll. He was man of control, but being in room with his wife, his heart felt floating, for the first time in life, it felt it was not in his control. He was so upset with her but how could he stop his heart when this silly girl is standing there, her head down and crushing her hands mercilessly with each other.

He did not know what to do. Confront her? No, he would not do that, that was not him in relation. He was Raja Sahib and he cannot complain. It would be childish acts; he was not into such acts. He shied, not knowing what to do, he went to one side of bed and went inside the soft thin quilt.

“Went to sleep? Kuch bi kaha nahi?”

But then she scolded herself in mind “Geet thank your stars that he did not say anything”

Geet did not know what to do, obviously, night time she has to sleep so she quietly took other extreme end.

Per neend kahan aane wali thi use, on the other side was, Raja Sahib her husband and he was Maan Sir. Maan sir is her husband, the thought was sinking in slowly. OMG, he is Raja Sahib, her husband. It felt so beautiful, smiled formed on her face.

“Per yeh to itne naraz hain.” She kept on turning and twisting as she kept on thinking

“Geet you are really a mess creator. Now pay for your over smartness” she again took a turn

Maan was himself having hard time getting to sleep, on top this girl was turning and twisting with lights still on.

Geet then again turned other side, feeling sad, she missed enjoying all her marriage functions and rituals with him. She again turned, this time facing him. Maan lost it now

“Can you not stay still, and sleep?” he sat down and looked at her. Geet immediately sat up and looked at him. Not knowing what to say

“I am sorry”

“Switch off the lights and go to sleep without moving”

“wooo.. aap.. I mean… main.. hum dono”

“Geet switch off the light and go to sleep”

“Geetanjali” she corrected in low voice. He did not say anything, got up and switched off the lights.

Geet at last slept knowing it’s not going to be as easy. She chided herself ten times, what had she been thinking that she can put her condition and the day she decides to be back, her husband, who is Raja Sahib, will be waiting for her with his arms spread wide. Without knowing him she made all assumptions for him, thinking he somewhere doesn’t match young girl like her. And here he is Maan Sir, the person who has floored her off her feet. No-one can easily impress Geet, but here at first look, he took all her attention.

Next morning, Raja Sahib by habit woke up at 5 am, he would get ready and be at Aarti by 6 am. Whenever Raja Sahib was in Kalsia, he would initiate the aarti, people loved it. They felt protected.

He went to other room, where his stuff still was kept. He came back to room after bath and getting dressed for aarti, found Geet still asleep. He shook his head, knowing she was Geet, he anyways did not have any expectation from her. But he needed to wake her up, all would question her non presence.

“Geet” “GEet” “GEET!!” he said loudly at last. Geet woke up all of sudden with his loud sound. It took her couple of minutes after deep sleep to realize her situation. Her eyes went on her husband, he was fresh in Kurta Pajama, his wet hair neatly done back and his sharp features making him look devilish killer.

“Arti starts in half an hour. Get ready soon, we need to go down together” he looked at other side after placing his statement. Her all messy self, hair disheveled, and she looking at him with her big almond eyes, all this of her were tempting to ditch his own anger. It was better to not look at her. In office it was easy, he was clear he has wife and he was not supposed to even think that way.

“Ji” is all she could utter. He moved out of room.

They did aarti together as other were audience, and then Raja Sahib blew the Sankh. Geet could not move her gaze away from him, he did it with so much elegance and authority. He was only her husband, Raja Sahib, something way beyond her Maan Sir.

Maan Sir, who have floored her, he was just one piece of Raja Sahib, her husband had much more dimension to his personality.

The step family stood by side, as attendance was needed. They were not able to digest that the girl has accepted the relation and now Kalsia has both Raja Sahib and Rani Sahiba as a whole from Royal family. They were not able to do anything and here the Royals were getting stronger.

How well things have been planned. Geetanjali herself in her sweet talk, have given her address to siblings, Dev and Devika. Attack was so well planned. This commoner would have been attacked and there would have been question raised on Raja Sahib. It would be so easy to rumor that they lead separate life. One attack, complete destruction of Royals. But Raja Sahib’s fool proof security spoilt it all and now his alertness, both are together as strength show. They rightly guess, this plan of formal introduction of Rani Sahiba, was all smart planning of Raja Sahib. They think one step and Raja Sahib go 10 steps ahead to negate their one act. They still believed that Raja Sahib have simply forced this girl in relation. They can still try using her.

After breakfast, Dadima took Geetanjali with her. Later Geet cane to room but he was nowhere. She looked for him for whole two hours but she could not find him in whole palace. At last she checked with Annie,

“Bhai? Ohh Bhabhi, when in Kalsia he is never to be found in Palace in day time. His whole day goes in Kalsia. It’s improvement, people etc. etc. He will come in evening during family evening tea time.”

“So he loves Kalsia more than his family?” Geet simply asked, little curious.

“Bhabhi!!! Kalsia is our family. And Bhai, his heart and soul stays here. He keeps touring for business purposes, that’s needed but when here, Kalsia is his priority” Geet smiled. Annie left.

Geet went to her room and kept thinking “Whole level of thinking is different. Mere bare mein kya sochte honge woo. How will I win him? On top my voice gets stuck in my throat when he is in front.”

Geet kept thinking “No, I will not give up. When he was Maan Sir, you simply said anything to him. Ok fine Geet, he is your husband, and he is Raja sahib, but eventually a same person. You can do it. Remember Maan Sir, he scolds you but then always use to come to make you feel better at end.”

She gave one final look to her Babaji.
