Geet had been selected. But her worry started now. Maan Khurana will know she is owner’s wife if he knows she is Geetanjali. Then his whole approach towards her will change. And then her Dusta Danav husband will know all about her whereabouts. Though she knew, he can always know what she is doing and where she, with one call to his security. But he is keeping his promise.
But if Maan Khurana will inform him and her adventure of working with Maan Khurana as an intern will be snatched and she will be labelled owner’s wife. No Way.
Geet talked to her principle and checked with him who will look into her documents and if MD himself will look into it.
“Geet… do you think Maan Khurana has time to see documents of an intern. He never ever takes interview of this level. It was just a gesture to encourage the college students and give one of them chance to work and learn from him. You have got this opportunity, use it for your career growth . Why does it concern you who will see the document?”
Geet was happy, HR will work with her documents etc.
“And you were bugging me to give this appointment to you for this discussion? I thought you were nervous to work with Maan Khurana and thus needed guidance”
“Sorry Sir. I will not let you or college down” “Better” he warned her.
It was Geet’s joining day. Her job was of evening shift 5pm – 10pm. She would be dropped to her house from company’s vehicle which had complete security setup. It was company’s rule for all employee, leaving after 8 pm that they only can leave premise in Company’s vehicle. For female employee, it was even strict rule, not to be broken even by mistake.
Her excitement of working with Maan Khurana knew no bounds. The best part was, she felt so comfortable with him around. But she has till now only seen him as Handsome stranger who did not expect anything from her. Why would he, she was a stranger, chirpy girl. He just took her lightly. But now Geet was going to enter her Boss’ cabin, who had already warned her.
She knocked the door “Come in Geet”
“Good Evening Sir”
“Good Evening. You are already half an hour late. This should not be repeated” he said, without even looking at her and his face dipped in the file.
His distant tone surprised Geet “Sorry Sir”
“I only look for efficient employee. The ones who keep saying sorry for their mistake are welcomed to forget working here” He raised his head to meet her eyes and then it went on whole of her
What is this girl? He was irked. Reporting to office first day in yellow crop top showing her abdomen and half torn jeans and sneaker
“Go to HR and learn about office decorum and minimal dress code. There is some compulsory online training that all intern and new joiner takes. You do them all today and get finished with. Tomorrow we are starting on real work.”
He spoke and finished it there. There was no chance for her to speak further.
She was with HR. HR department closes by 6 pm so she worked with them first. They worked with all her documents. She was irritated to not work directly with Boss. After her training it was 10 pm and her time to leave. She went to check his cabin to say Goodnight; he was long gone. All lights were switched off.
Delhi – Khurana Mansion
He sipped his drink as his eyes were fixed on IPL match on huge screen in the Hall.
“Good Evening Bhai” Vicky entered greeting his brother
“Hey Viccky- I watched your conference. You need to refine a bit more. It was impressive though”
“Sure Bhai… will work on it. How was your day?”
“It’s still On. Just taking small break. By the way your team is doing great. You should be there to encourage them and show your presence.”
“Yeah Bhai, tomorrow I will be there. Let them enjoy their victory today and take limelight. You know our captain has big fan base and he loves the attention”
“Hmmm” He got up to get going to his study
“Ok… I am off to my study. Let me know if you want anything from me”
“Bhai… woo Annie”
“Hmmm I see she is up to something, what is it? If it need my immediate attention?”
“No Bhai… we will talk other day in leisure”
“That, I never have” he smirked
And then he placed his hand on Vicky’s shoulder “You know I can find out by digging to her securities, I hope you guys let me know soon on your own before I start looking into it”
“This Sunday for sure, if you are here”
“Yeah, I have planned to visit club. Need to remind the lot, who the king at game is?” he smiled confidently.
“Sure Bhai… let’s meet at club on Sunday then” he nodded and left for study.
Tuesday, Geet reached office in knee length skirt and tight fitted black top, deep round neck. Giving beautiful view of her white creamy skin and appropriate look to her well-shaped curves and petite waist and high pony.
She knocked the door “Come in”
She entered, he looked at her and for few seconds his eye simply stuck on her face and then her whole self. But Maan soon collected himself, cleared his throat “Sit Down”
He cursed himself – What the hell was he doing.
This crazy girl is going to make him crazy. He was not at all, was the type to check the girls and now anyways, it was all forbidden for him.
She smiled and took seat “Good evening Handsome”
“Boss.. and behave yourself”
“Ok, let’s settle between – Handsome Boss”
“You want to lose your job on second day” He warned her
“You checked me out, did I say anything? No. Why job warning every time.”
“Can we talk work”
“Sure B-O-S-S” she was childish and he had tons of important stuff than to ponder even a second on her blabbering.
“So take this file, go through it and prepare your report on it. I need report by tomorrow. If I like anything worth in it, I will pick it up from your file for my presentation on Thursday.”
“OK” She nodded obediently
“Don’t pressurize. I am not expecting out box on first assignment. But still will see how impressive you are in real work”
She started looking into the file
“You can take next cabin for yourself. Focus and work good.”
“If that’s how I can impress you, be ready to be impressed” She said with attitude
“Filmy….” he shook his head “GO Now” he scolded
Geet left and started on work. Few minutes of flirt with her handsome, her smile was not stopping.
“Magical” escaped from her lips “Geet stop, you are Raja Sahib’s wife”
She started focusing on her work. But her smile not stopping on her small flirt and how he just ignored her. She enjoyed how he did not take her seriously, she could just have light fun teasing him and off course impressing him. Why? She did not want to dig deep, she just wanted to.
She smiled on his rant earlier “You have no chance with me, don’t try girl”
“You have no chance with me either BOSS” she shook her head and dipped herself in file.
Next Day – In Day time Geet attended her classes and then she took a break and then left for office.
She knocked his cabin but he was not there, she placed her file on his table. As per her, the work was done. She was in her cabin, tried checking personal mails and social media account but all were blocked. Only office mails could be opened. Nothing to do. It was evening shift so by 6 most employees left the office, only few were there. She went ahead to befriend those in office.
Around 7, phone of her desk rang
“Yes”
“In my cabin now” the tone scared her
He was holding the file she has prepared in his hand – “What is this? This is what you have prepared?”
He showed her the paper, scolded her for the superficial work that she had presented
“And why was this on my table with incomplete work and where were you all while”
Geet’s words were stuck in her throat. Never expecting this from her handsome. Her Dusta Danav, placed rule on her and she hated him for that. But Maan Sir, she only felt guilty of not coming to his expectation.
“I am asking you something Geet? Don’t take this internship for granted. I am really doubting my decision of selecting you”
“Sir” Geet’s words were not coming out with his sudden outburst.
“I thought I completed the file. I will learn from previous files and correct this”
“This is a trash” he tore it and threw in bin. Read and learn from previous file and prepare from scratch.
Geet had tears in her eyes “This is professional place Miss Geet. Nor am I your BF or your family, keep these tears and emotion out of office and come.”
His hard core professional talks hurt her. Why was she expecting some kind of personal touch in his words, he was just her BOSS?
“You are here to achieve best internship opportunity and I will make sure of that. Be prepared to be grilled” Geet quietly left.

Hmmm .. it was expected, she novice and young and he is mature and experienced. His level of expectations is high, so she has to be extra careful and creative to impress him.
Though it will not appropriate for her to impress him in personal level as she is a married woman.
