Saathiya – Part 30

It had been 15 days and Geet has settled down in Florida. It had been tough for her, being away from Maan. She was focusing on her career but continuously would miss Maan too. Here she would miss more as she would see how people openly expressed love.   Her colleagues would discuss their partner.

“Me and Maan have been together since childhood and still we have simply restricted our relation. I want to have Maan in all ways, want Maan to enjoy me in all ways. Now I won’t let him stop himself”

She would keep calling Maan in her night time which would eventually be busy time for Maan, but he would keep talking to her on one side and keep working. His work was going in full flow along with her talks. It actually helped him focus, she being with him.

“Darling, now go to sleep baby. It’s pretty late for you”

“Meeting hai na tumharee” “hmmm” “Maan miss you badly, aaoo na”

“Darling give me few more days. Am dying to be with you. You know that, right?”

More 15 days past. Maan had been very busy these 15 days. Even Geet’s call, he would disconnect most times as he would be busy. Geet would crib but she knew he was busy and very hooked up or he would never disconnect her call. But that would not lessen her crib

“Main hoon nahi. Temporary GF bana lee hogee flirty ne. Tabhi mujhe avoid ker raha hai”

It was next week and Maan’s huge international project was approved. It was a big news. A breakthrough for whole industry. It was impossible to say who was happier Raj or Mohinder, when the news reached them. There was big party in honor of Maan.

“Congratulations Congratulation!!!! Ohhh my my Maan, all the while we were talking you never said you are doing such big project.”

“How would have I seen this happiness then? It’s all for you darling”

“Love you Love you”

“Geet, today its party in my honor. First time this big honor for me. Everyone will be there; I want you to witness it”

“Maan I definitely am going to witness it. You just give me organizer’s contact; I will take care of rest.”

“Gee-eet” “Anything troubling you Maan?”

“Wooo…. Dad will be there as well. Will I get to see pride in his eyes?”

Geet wanted to come and hug him right then. He has achieved such big still until uncle show his confidence in him, this child in him will wait for his approval. More than her lover, she was talking to her best childhood friend. This was her Maan only for her.

“Off course Maan. This is nothing small that you have achieved.”

Later they disconnected.

It was evening time in India and early morning in US. Geet had worked technologically with organizer and Viccky and set up the live show from all angles. She had set up big projector in office.

The party and honor where going and there in her office, Geet introduced her boyfriend proudly to her colleagues. Even her seniors witnessed the whole event.

They hooted, teased and blessed Geet.

On the other side, Maan was busy, people and all big shots were coming and praising him. Off course success of this project means lots of big project coming further in KH. And KH becoming way ahead in league and with that Maan.

Later Maan was surrounded with girls, all trying to impress him and most trying to have some separate time with him. Maan being Maan, could not stop flirting.

Geet’s side “Geet your Boyfriend is not only handsome and sexy; he knows it very well”

“And that’ dangerous baby”

Geet turned to them and laughed “I have not seen my flirty without Girlfriend since I have my senses” such teasing talks just went on. Geet’s Boyfriend becoming a hit.

It was then suddenly they heard a powerful sound in the mic “Hello everyone, need your attention here”

Geet’s and Maan both eyes went on the person speaking. It was Rajendra

Raj and Maan’s eye met. Raj proudly smiled at Maan. None around could tell but Geet from far knew, what feeling Maan must be going now

“I thank you all for this party in honor of my Son – Maan Singh Khurana. I would like to take this opportunity to show my pride on my son”

Everyone clapped. Maan placed his hand in his pockets to keep himself in control of his emotion

“In this era, I am proud to have a son, who is not only proving his worth and caliber to world and who is bringing our company one level up but above all he is best son anyone could have.”

He paused “As a father, I have not much to say here publicly. It’s between me and my son. Thanks to my son for proving me wrong in all ways.” Maan could feel the pride. He badly needed his Mom and Geet here by his side to witness this moment.

Mohinder came near Maan and hugged him sideways. He knew Maan needed this

“But here I am to announce that I proudly hand over my position in organization to Maan.” Maan was shocked and he shook his head for No. Raj smiled at him

“I am not retiring though Maan. I am very much there to oversee things and esp. to keep watch on you” he laughed.

Maan could not hold anymore, he ran and hugged his dad.

“Thanks Dad. Will never ever let you down” Raj separated Maan and patted his cheeks “I won’t let you, you know.”

With that Maan got idea – strike the iron while it is hot. Naughtiness in him took over.

He took mic from Raj “I want to thank Dad for showing his pride in me. But like all child, Maan Singh Khurana also would love to get gift of his choice from his Dad”

Everyone clapped, the party became enjoyable and fun for everyone, the moment Maan spoke. His charm could be seen

Raj looked at Maan with skeptical look. This boy is definitely coming up with something.

“promise Mr Khurana. Mr Maan Khurana still wants gift from Dad” everyone was laughing and enjoying and the crowd made Raj promise gift of his choice to Maan.

On the way back Mohinder captured Maan – “Very happy for you son. But thorda naraz hoon. Mujse to haq se kuch manga nahi. Apne dad pe hee haq dikhaya na ”

“Uncle you know, I needed to trick him to promise, bas mauka ka fyada uthaya maine. You know I am more your son, is there even a doubt in that”

At that very moment he got his Darlings’ call – “Uncle will catch you later. Can’t miss this one”

“Heyyyy babe” but he ran and came back to Mohinder “Aapse bohut badi wali gift chahiye, Bit scared to ask it” and he ran away

Mohinder smiled, he somewhere knew what Maan wanted from him.

“Maan Maan, I love you, love you. A big Congratulations. I am so so happy for you.”

“Congratulations to us Geet. I have done all this for us and you know this Maan is nothing if it’s not for you”

“Maa-aan” “hmmmm” “Wooo promise, uncle se. What you gonna ask”

“Surprise for you babe” “Bolo na” but Maan did not say. Geet got angry and disconnected.

Maan kept trying calling her. Geet could not ignore him for more than an hour. She took leave that day, for rest of her day and went home to call him back.

It was late night for Maan but he picked the call

“Hmmm.. aaj bhi naraz”

“No, can I ever be. Ok I am in my room, took leave today. Bolo mujhse kya chaiye” she hinted and Maan understood. He actually badly needed her at this moment

“Tum Chahiye, puree ke puree” “Kab rooka maine”

They kept quiet for a while, listening to each other’s breath

“Maa-aan” “Hmmm” “This distance, I can’t take it anymore. You promised, you will come up with something.”

“Meri kya halat hai, do I need to tell you.” He paused “Ge-eet, I need to feel you. Nahi hota abb”

“Tou kuch karo na” she herself was aching to be in his strong arms. Wanted to be crushed by him, feel his strong muscle, his intoxication fragrance.

“I will Geet, I have to. Can’t sustain this”
