He loved her childishness, stubbornness, and the way Geet would complain, always claiming her rights over him in some way. Today, there were no complaints from her side that bothered him. Filled with emotions, Maan lifted her face and pressed his lips against hers, nibbling and sucking gently before forcing his tongue inside her mouth to express his love. He wanted to show her just how much she meant to him—how she was everything to him.
Geet had already melted at his sudden presence and now nestled in his embrace. She surrendered herself to let him take the lead.
********
Maan picked Geet up into his arms and softly laid her in her bed. Geet had her hand still around his neck, as if hanging her on him, not leaving him. Maan hovered over her, softly held her palms, entangled them with his, taking the abover her head. He placed several kisses all over her face as his. Geet closed her eyes in surrender, feeling his lips against her skin. The wetness of his lips left soft marks on her as he traveled from her chin to her neckline.
“I missed you so much, Jaan. I missed us, I missed our togetherness.” His words made her softly open her eyes and look at him. She didn’t know what to answer. Her missing him had been so deep, everything about their love, their passion, his pampering her, her being able to be silly around him, being his baby, her having a free gate to get angry with him for no reason….. all this and many more. She has missed that all.
Her eyes glistened with unshed tears, ready to fall, but he could see how hard she was trying to hold them back. The controlled tears in her eyes sent a pang to his heart. He pressed his lips firmly against hers, immersing her in a deep kiss, attempting to silence all her unspoken complaints. She surrendered completely to his embrace. His unexpected presence and their closeness felt like a dream to her.
He gently pulled away from the kiss, his eyes searching her flushed face, and with great care, he brushed aside the messy strands that framed her features.
“This is not how my Jaan commonly complains of missing me.” He complained
“I missed you…..” she said, her voice soft, yet laden with heaviness – crackled.
“I get it. But my Jaan has her own special way of letting me know. She just flips me over,” he chuckled, switching their positions to put her on top.
“She would settle herself on my abdomen, locking my hands above my head and making me say sorry at least ten times for making her miss me. Where is that Jaan of mine? I am missing her so much.”
“Seeing you after so many days, I do not want to do anything silly that has risking of putting you off.”
He pulled her closer by her arms with a slight tug, making her lie over him, even closer. “Jaan, don’t you know that when I’m with you, you’re the boss? And I love having my bossy Jaan around me. It’s always a pleasure to serve you, ma’am.”
Geet smiled, “Maan, just make love to me the whole night. All I want is to feel you.”
“As you wish, ma’am,” Maan said, desperately trying to win back his spoiled Geet. He knew he had created some distance between them. It pained him, but the best he could do now was to respect her request. They both needed this badly.
Maan took off his clothes and then gently did the same for her. He positioned himself on top of her, their skin touching and mingling, sharing warmth and sensations that flowed through both their bodies and souls. As he showered her with soft kisses all over, he wanted to express his love, envelop her in his passion, and convey how deeply he cared for her.
He moved closer, easing her into his warmth as he made soft movements, his lips wandering tenderly across her face. He brushed soft kisses along her skin, his fingers lacing gently with hers as she melted into his touch. Wrapped in his closeness, she felt herself drifting, lost in the way he held her, the way she absorbed his presence into every breath she took. And then he deepened the moments, pouring passion as he drew her into a rush of emotion that left her breathless, overwhelmed, and entirely his.
They made love again and again, mainly Maan taking the lead, showering his passion and emotion on her. Geet simply surrendered herself to his presence, absorbing his closeness.
Later, he pulled her into his embrace. Geet snuggled into his chest, gluing herself to him.
The lovemaking was beautiful, but what troubled Maan was Geet’s submissiveness. She never took the lead or sought revenge; instead, she avoided anything that might risk creating distance between them. Why was she so afraid of that distance? He was hers—always and forever, in every way possible.
What has he done? When he knew Geet took things to extremes, especially when he was the subject.
“Crazy girl,” came out of his lips from the terrain of his thoughts. Geet looked up at him
“I love you, Jaan, more than anything in this world.” “I know,” she said, her eyes laden with sleepiness. He kissed her forehead, whispered “Good night,” and pulled her back into his chest.
“I know,” she said, her eyes ladden with sleepiness. He kissed her forehead
“Good Night” and pulled her back into his chest.
Geet opened her eyes from the filtered sunlight that came in through the sheers. The morning golden hue, cascading glow on her beautiful face, and her hair strands spread across her face, acted like a veil.
Maan entered the room with their cups of coffee, unable to ignore her captivating beauty. He couldn’t remember when he had fallen for her or when he had given his heart to this enchanting woman. Was it just her looks? No, it was the whole package that she represented—demanding, dominant, and always claiming her rights over him while trying to charm him with her adorable, playful ways. He relished every moment of it, often teasing her and showing attitude in return, fully aware that while she could express her anger, her heart always belonged to him.
He placed the steaming coffee on the side table. The fragrance of coffee hit her nostril and she opened her eyes to see Maan looking her with a smile
“Maan”
“Freeze!!” he paused her movement and placed himself hovering over her
“Maan…”
“Shhhh…” he placed a soft kiss on her lips, his fingers gently brushing back the stray strands of hair that framed her face. His eyes sparkled with mischief as he maintained his playful gaze on her.
“Maan, what are you doing?” she asked, a hint of laughter in her voice.
“Any messing up cannot falter the absolute beauty,” he replied, his voice low and husky. “And this absolute beauty is mine.”
“Your coffee will get cold,” she intervened
“I don’t care. And from when did you start caring about coffee more than me”
He shifted and pushed himself inside the blanket, playfully cuddling her, “You look so edible.”
“You made the coffee?”
He raised his eyebrows, “unn hnn… special one for you.” he sat up, handed her a cup, and took his
“Why did you do? We have two full-time attendants,” she said, taking the cup from him, sipping her coffee
Maan looked keenly at Geet, this time sincerely observing her
“Geet, for god’s sake, just be your natural self with me….. Just be Geet. I was simply being my open self when asking you to do things. I thought I had the right to be my natural self.”
“You have all the rights. And I am your Geet. And if you will not be yourself with me, then with whom?”
“But then, why are you not just being yourself? Have I been behaving in ways that hurt you? “
“Maan, I am so so happy you are here. We had such a beautiful night. Why are you saying so?”
“Let it be, we will talk later on this. Did you like the coffee?”
“I am loving it.”
“Thanks. Okay, go get freshened up and come down. I will go have some chit chat with others.”
Down in the hall, Brij, Maan, Rano, and Mohinder were chatting like any ordinary family, the conversation drifting from laughter to life updates.
“Are we looking at dates for their marriage? Are you not ready yet, buddy?” Maan asked, nudging Brij lightly.
“So much is going on right now,” Brij replied. “We need to stabilize the business first. Geet is working really hard. I don’t want her distracted.”
“Maan, only you can make him understand,” Rano chimed in. “Is it fair to keep Richa waiting because of these never-ending family crises?”
“Mom is right,” Maan agreed. “Stop being so hard on yourself, Brij. You’ve been pushing beyond your comfort zone for months. You also deserve to enjoy life.”
“It’s easy for you to say,” Brij countered. “Look at you and Geet. You two have been crazy about each other since childhood, yet you were rushed into marriage before you were ready. Now, you two are having a long-distance relationship.”
“Brij…” Rano whispered sharply, shaking her head; a quiet warning not to drag that topic further.
But Maan had already caught it.
Because the distance was hard on him. Brutal, at times. But it was his decision, and he wondered if he’d put too much on Geet..
Not that he didn’t understand the weight she carried. He did. But Maan Singh Khurana didn’t bend easily, especially when the decision was made for her — her dignity, her independence, her standing in a world that could be merciless. He would take the blame, even her anger, if it meant shielding her from the cruelty he had seen all his life and how others had reacted to their relationship. He would rather be harsh now, for a little while, than see the world be cruel to her forever.
He wanted the business here to stand strong — not for him, but for her. And he wanted Geet to be the one to build it, to run it, to prove herself on her own terms. He kept himself out of it purposely, deliberately, because her capability shouldn’t ever be buried under his shadow.
She deserved her own victories, her own battle scars, her own story of how she took a shaky foundation and built an empire. And when she finally flew — high, fearless, unstoppable — he wanted the world to know she did it herself.
All he was doing now… all the distance, all the discipline, all the pressure…
was to make sure that when she takes over the new projects that he is burning himself to bring in, no one would ever question her place at the top.
“Maan, where are you lost? I didn’t mean it like that, yaar,” Brij nudged him.
Maan snapped out of his thoughts. “Come on, I don’t mind my family sharing their POV. But yes, the situation and people are different. Things will keep moving and success will be there. Richa is so talented—her joining will only reduce your burden… and mine too,” he added with a laugh.
“Accha??” Brij raised a brow.
Maan chuckled. “Exactly. With Richa here, I won’t have to send Geet to check on business every now and then. Richa will handle things smoothly.”
“Kamineyyy… I am the only one you find useless!” Brij shot back. Maan burst into hearty laughter.
“I didn’t say anything,” he teased, and Brij laughed too. They both knew how deeply Maan respected him—how Brij had taken over responsibilities and devoted himself, sacrificing his own dreams. Maan admitted to himself he could never do that. And yet, he also knew that for Brij to manage everything well, he needed someone with sharp business sense—like Geet or Richa.
Rano didn’t pay much attention to the two friends bickering.
“So, we all agree on looking for a date for Richa and Brij?” she asked.
Before Brij could react, Maan answered, “Yes. We agree. Mom, let’s check for a date within the next six months.”
“I am the one getting married!” Brij tried to remind them.
Maan ignored him dramatically. “Mom–Dad, we’re talking about Richa’s marriage. You speak with her parents.”
Brij shook his head and walked off.
“No point sitting here when this guy decides everything. Richa’s marriage—like she’s getting married to air or water. It’s me.”
Geet, in her room, was coping with the overwhelming feeling of Maan’s presence. He was actually here and had showered her with his love and passion. Not that she ever doubted his love for her or his passion towards her. However, the way he has been so focused on their professional progress lately and not engaging in any nonsense or silly talk with her has confused her.
She was also confused about how she had not been able to reciprocate her deep-down excitement for him.
She wanted to hug him tightly, shower him with innumerable kisses, ruffle his hair, and do everything else she could think of. He was her Maan, so what was holding her back? But then, he had trained her to be sincere and professional, to stay focused and avoid childish behavior. She understood why he wanted it that way; they needed to accomplish their goal within this one year.
And now, what is Maan expecting from her? It was not easy to switch modes
Geet set aside the conflict in her heart and got ready to be with Maan. She has been so lost that she has not yet asked how long he was here.

Back in London,
Sameera is pacing in her room, restless when she got the most-awaited call
“Where have you been. I have been waiting for your call like crazy.”
“You need a hell lot of patience for what you are aiming at. We are here trying to achieve a near-impossible task. And remember, more than you, it is my obsession to see them apart. The man has ruined me and left me penniless and I am rotting in jail due to him. I cannot rest till he is ruined. And only separating him from her. Nothing else, but this can and will surely ruin him”
“I want him,” Sameera hissed. “His name should be spoken with mine, not hers. For eight years no one existed in his life, and I had everything planned. I invested years studying him—every habit, every flaw, every soft spot. And then one fine day, that girl he once separated from walks back in and becomes his wife. At first, seeing the distance between them, I thought the path was clear. But between all their anger and fights, they somehow ended up marrying each other. I can’t accept that. I’ve given years to get into his line of sight, and I’m not letting some long-lost childhood friend erase all of it. His name, his fame, his aura, his money—they’re meant to be mine, and I will make it happen.”
“It’s an impossible task if you go the way you are going. That man you are trying to win is rock solid. Anything you do in this world will not place you above her. It is she whom you have to focus on. Eight years back, was the one who had been able to separate these two, and mind you, it was a finale separation, but still today they are reuinted, even stronger. It can only happen when you break her. So you have to wait for few more months, when she is back. Keep wining his trust and wait for your right time to strike.”
“Do not take a single step due to your impatience because I cannot let you ruin my game. And you know, you cannot do it all without my guidance” and they disconnected.

Hi Anu
appreciate the update
Chapter 61
of cos they are making up for loss time
he really missed her so much and this reflects in his actions
Geet’s thoughts were reasonable
for Maan this is not his crazy Geet
his questions were justified
sad that Geet is so controlled with her feelings
he wants his bossy Geet
at least Maan realised that he created the distance between them
passionate moments
as expected Maan was troubled seeing her submissiveness
liked Maan adoring his sleeping beauty
his thoughts well portrayed
loved this playful Maan
Maan just wants Geet to be her natural self with him
glad that he confronted Geet
pleased that she assured him
ha ha Maan teased Brij
great seeing the bond between everyone
Maan was correct that Brij needs to enjoy life
Brij had a point
this clearly got Maan thinking
well he is doing this all for Geet
he naturally wants Geet to make her own place
agree with Maan that the situation and people are different
enjoyed the banter
Geet’s thoughts and confusion was understandable
not surprised that Sameera is there to separate Maaneet
seems like she is obsessed with Maan
Gosh she and Rohan are working together
hope their plan does not succeed
Maan is certainly oblivious
he needs to be alert

Sameer showing her true intentions, so she came to separate Maan and Geet , is she teamed with Rohan.
Please don’t let them separate Geet and Maan , Geet is more mature now than 8 years before , we don’t want another heartbreak 💔!!
